tiGO launches new promo

MILLICOM Ghana Limited, operators of Tigo, has launched the "Top up and Win" promotional campaign for its customers during the festive season.
The promotion is expected to offer subscribers the opportunity to win some prices by way of voice calls and SMS.
The Corporate Communications Manager of Tigo, Mrs Anita Erskine, said the company was paying keen attention to the constantly increasing demands of its loyal subscribers as Ghanaians continued to request a more extensive variation of mobile services.
To that end, she said, Tigo's promotion was designed to keep its subscribers communicating and expressing themselves in which ever way they liked.
She said the Christmas campaign had the major focus of crowning an overall lucky person with a Suzuki Grand Vitara at the end of the promotion, noting that every prepaid subscriber had a special Christmas gift this month.
To win that ultimate price, she explained, subscribers only had to top up GH¢1 or more in December to qualify them for a draw.
Mrs Erskine further explained that first-time subscribers only needed to top up their account with GH¢1 or more to entitle them to gifts ranging from bonus on top ups, free SMS, free extreme value subscriptions and loads of other goodies this month.
She said subscribers were entitled to enter into a raffle draw that would come up at the end of the promotion and mentioned some of the prices at stake as discounts, free extreme value, 500 Ipods and the ultimate prize, a brand new 2008 model Suzuki Grand Vitara.
